Well...I guess I can't really say that it's quiet on the homefront. Things seem to be calm and as peaceful as they can be with three boys in the house. There really isn't much to report these days. I moving along steadily in my two courses, the kids are doing great in school. Joel is off to New Zealand again for the third and final time. Counting the days until he is home. Poor guy got there just fine, but his luggage...not so lucky. They are in the process of trying to locate it. This is the first time this has ever happened to us. I actually thought it was a myth seeing how we have never had a problem. But as I now know, it is a fact that luggage can be lost with the airlines.
A bit of news...David has been nominated for GATE at school. His CORE teacher said he shows all the qualities of a GATE student. So the application has been submitted, testing is next sometime in the next month or so she said, then we'll see. We are quite proud of him. He is a little nervous that it will be too hard or he will have too much homework, but it's something we (he included) needs to pursue.
We register Nicholas for Kindergarten in a few weeks. Hard to believe that the time has actually come to send him off. Bitter-Sweet. Our baby is five. It's hard to let that one go. He is so ready for it though. He has really developed in the last few months and is constantly surprising us with what he has learned or can do.
Well, I just wanted to let you know we haven't fallen off the face of the earth. Just really nothing to share.
