What a difference a few years and the right clothes make. I just came across this video from a few years back that made me laugh and cry all at the same time. To see my boys so little made my heart wrench, but this day was so fun for Joel and I and made some great memories for the two of us. As you can see the boys were wearing sweats and rain boots to play in the snow. Before you make any judgements, let me state: Our kids had never been to the snow before this point. We, not having a lot of money to spend on the right snow apparel, decided to do a test run with what we DID have. So, here you go.
How sweet to hear their little voices again. And Nic's little cry...so cute! Time goes so fast. Here are some pictures of that day too.
Now compare those to our most recent trip to the snow this winter in New Hampshire...see any difference?
Moral of the story...Children are much happier playing in the snow when they have the proper clothing.
