Big Gamble

We just had to try to win this motorcycle for ourselves Kelly's Dad. 

We risked a lot for him.  (Yes, that's $1)

 

That $1, turned into $3! 

We didn't win the Motorcycle, but we did win...

Big risks...Big winnings!

A Little Getaway

We took the rare chance to getaway without the kids to focus on us.  We didn't do much relaxing.  Not sure that's possible in Las Vegas.  The city that NEVER sleeps (although we did!). 

We spoiled ourselves with a flight down...

...and a limo ride to the hotel.

We stayed at the Trump International which is on the North End of the strip just behind Treasure Island.  It's not a casino, so it was quiet and peaceful.  Something we needed after being with three boys all the time.  No one to wake us up, or demand a snack.  Just us. 

The one thing we did which we now say is a must, was see Cirque du Soleil's Mystere.

One word...AMAZING!  Now I'm sure that the others are just as amazing, but seeing how this is what we saw, we were not disappointed.  What is the story?  Heck if we know!  We didn't get it, but the show itself was just amazing.  We highly recommend it. 

We walked the strip and cruised the Hotels.  We gambled a whole $3.  Yep...big spenders.  And you'll see why we did that much later this week. 

All in all it was a great trip.  It's always nice to get away.  Next time though, we think we are headed somewhere tropical and peaceful.

And with the blooming flowers...blooms my allergies. But it was all worth it for these views.
